With so many things to do on the Disney Wish you won’t know which to do first. We are sharing some of our favorites to help you plan your onboard experience.
Disney is going all out to develop magical experiences for all age categories on board, the Disney Wish, labeled "Disney's Castle on the Sea,” From Nightingale's piano bar to Senses Spa to an infinity pool oasis just for adults, these spaces will leave you completely enchanted.
Out of the top things to do on Disney Wish, the best ones are listed as follows:
As one would expect from a Disney vacation, there are numerous options to keep the kids entertained, whether they are young or old. Here are the amazing things to do on
A children's salon where they can have the Disney Princess, knight, or captain makeover of their dreams. Services include hairstyling, glittery makeup, a face gem, a princess sash, nail polish, and a Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique T-shirt. Another package includes a "Disney Princess gown made with heirloom-quality fabrics" and a crystal tiara.
A fully enclosed and air-conditioned sports arena, is the perfect active play area for your little stars. The Incredi-Games, a family game show featuring obstacle courses inspired by The Incredible, and Jack-Incredible Jack's Diaper Dash, a crawling race for babies, will be among the events.
An Avengers headquarters onboard as part of the Oceaneer Club for children.
This will include Belle's Library, Anna and Elsa's summer house, and Rapunzel's art class.
Design and create your own roller coaster.
Scuba Scramble, a new animated Mickey Mouse short, will be featured at the Aqua Mouse attraction. A 760-foot water ride will take you all the way around the top deck, complete with interactive water elements, audio, video, lighting, show scenes, and special effects. According to Disney, you'll be on an adventure to a mermaid lagoon.
The Toy Story Splash Zone, six pools, and casual dining in the Mickey and Friends district are also located on the top deck.
On its fifth ship, Disney Wish has a fantastic thing for visitors that will provide a wide range of entertainment options. Here's what we know so far:
The Walt Disney Theater is one of the best things to do on Disney Wish. It features an Aladdin musical with a new song for Jasmine, an original production of The Little Mermaid with projections and puppetry, and an embarkation day show with Captain Minnie, Goofy, Tiana, Elsa, Merida, Moana, Hercules, Nemo, Crush, Squirt, and other Disney and Pixar characters.
Captain Redd from the Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Disneyland and Walt Disney World hosts a pirate deck party with an appearance by Captain Jack Sparrow.
One of the best things to do on Disney Wish is to focus on Pixar films, with a new candy store. The store will be designed to resemble Riley's emotional control center in the film Inside Out, complete with statues of Joy, Sadness, Fear, Disgust, and Anger and lighting fixtures that resemble memory orbs.
The Star Wars Hyperspace Lounge is only for adults. The lounge, which is designed to look like a luxury spaceship, will serve space-themed drinks. Views from screen "windows" will show Star Wars locales like Tatooine, Batuu, and Mustafar, similar to Disney World's new Star Wars resort, the Galactic Star cruiser.
Three new family restaurants will open on Disney Wish:
A Frozen Dining Adventure, which will serve Nordic-inspired foods and feature character performances while you eat. The restaurant cordially invites you to Anna and Kristoff's engagement party.
An interactive dining experience in which you'll be served African foods to represent Wakanda, Eastern European cuisine to honor Sokovia, and dining options from New York City, where the Avengers are based. It will include Avengers: Quantum Encounter, an interactive show starring Ant-Man and the Wasp.
Decorated as a 1920s Hollywood experience reminiscent of Walt Disney's heyday and serves a California fusion menu.
There will also be a food hall called Marceline Market, which will feature 10 food stalls themed after movies like Tangled, Zootopia, Alice in Wonderland, and Ratatouille, as well as a Mickey and Friends Festival of Foods for quick bites.
On the Disney Wish, the best things include tweens and teens. According to the Disney Parks Blog, tweens can hang out at Edge in a space inspired by a New York City loft. Under the supervision of friendly counselors, they can make new friends while playing video games, taking pictures in front of colorful photo walls, and enjoying other age-appropriate programming.
Yet another fantastic thing to do on Disney Wish is the Hideaway, a flexible and more refined space. Intended to encourage not only relaxing among new friends but also grooving and karaoke under beach ball lights, this is perfect for young guests. The area will be open to various age groups — tweens, teens, and even young adults aged 18 to 20 — for optimal interplay and programming, as well as a lot of fun.
A lot has changed in the decade since Disney last launched a new ship, and they have taken advantage of the opportunity to enhance the best things to do on the Disney Wish and develop great new amenities and entertainment options, as well as incorporate technology for the best interactive experiences. There is something for everyone, whether you like the classics like Mickey and Minnie, Frozen, Star Wars, or Marvel. What are you waiting for?
