Utopia of the Seas boasts over 20 distinctive dining options and various dining venues onboard. Guests can savor Japanese cuisine and sushi at the Izumi Hibachi and Sushi restaurant, featuring al fresco seating and teppanyaki tables at Izumi in the Park. Giovanni’s Italian Kitchen and Wine Bar offers authentic Italian dishes paired with a selection of classic cocktails. Windjammer presents approximately 200 gourmet dishes, along with a range of brunch and lunch options.

For those craving Southern cuisine, Mason Jar Southern Restaurant and Bar offers live country music alongside its menu. Special dining options include Chops Grille and Hooked Seafood, which serve New England-style dishes. The ship also hosts over 20 lounges and bars. Passengers can enjoy fruit-based cocktails made with tequila, rum, and gin at Pesky Parrot, a new Caribbean bar on the Royal Promenade.

3. Endless Entertainment

Utopia of the Seas boasts two casinos, five live music venues, ten DJs, four spectacular shows, and six dance floors. Casino Royale features around 30 table games and 370 slot machines. Live music shows onboard include Boleros, Spotlight Karaoke, Music Hall, Schooner Bar, and Bell & Barley. Entertainment options also include comedy clubs, Playmakers Sports Bar & Arcade, high diving acrobatics at Aquatheatre, skating stunts at Studio B, and performances at Royal Theatre.

The ship maintains eight pools, including Splashaway Bay’s two aqua parks for kids and two resort-style pools located on the top deck, equipped with water slides, fountains, double-drench buckets, and water cannons. The Ultimate Abyss, a 259-foot-long dry slide, is one of the longest at sea, featuring transparent racing windows, 300 LED lights to illuminate the descent, and zoom booster rolls for added speed. Additionally, there are eight hot tubs, three waterslides, and a FlowRider surf simulator onboard. Other amenities include mini-golf at AquaDunes and Utopia Playscape for children.

Utopia of the Seas spans 211 feet in width and 1,188 feet in length, with a draft of 30 feet and a gross tonnage of 236,860 short tons. It comprises 18 decks organized into eight distinct neighborhoods. The vessel accommodates 5,668 passengers in double occupancy and hosts a crew of 2,290 members. Notably, it marks the debut of liquefied natural gas (LNG) propulsion within Royal Caribbean’s Oasis class. Propelled by six diesel engines generating a total of 96 MW power and three azipods, each producing 20 MW, it can reach a maximum speed of 22 knots. Equipped with six Wartsila 46TS-DF engines featuring gas valve units and selective catalytic reduction systems to mitigate nitrogen oxide emissions, the ship also incorporates LNGPac, an LNG fuel gas supply system, and transverse thrusters.

5. Stops at Royal Caribbean’s Private Island

Utopia of the Seas focuses on itineraries for short getaways departing from Port Canaveral. The cruise ship offers 4-night weekday trips and 3-night weekend voyages, catering to both short breaks and longer escapes. Both itineraries feature stops at Royal Caribbean's private island in the Bahamas, Perfect Day at CocoCay. This exclusive destination, formerly known as CocoCay, has been enhanced with Royal Caribbean's "Perfect Day" treatment, featuring the adults-only Hideaway Beach, which debuted in 2024.
