Philipsburg is the central cultural and commercial hub of St. Maarten. It is the busiest port for cruise ships and the longest and widest port town. It has supermarkets, shops, beaches, museums, churches, architecture buildings, parks & gardens, theaters and cinema halls to keep all the visitors engage. Here people are friendly, and the streets are narrow but have more than enough to explore. Even visitors can explore and enjoy the city’s art galleries, forts, casinos, zoos, and some great bay beaches. The beaches are particularly long and serene and are fully crowded and busy during peak hours.
