The Star and Sun Princess will sail to Southern Europe in 2025 to celebrate Princess Cruises‘ 40th anniversary sailing the Mediterranean. Six of its ships provide guests with European adventure opportunities, including the Majestic Princess, Sky Princess, Regal Princess, and Emerald Princess.
Cruises aboard the Sky Princess, the Regal Princess, and the Emerald Princess will go on sale May 25, while those aboard the Star Princess, the Sun Princess, and the Majestic Princess will be available beginning June 1.
During the 40th anniversary celebration, the new Star Princess will sail in the Mediterranean alongside its sister ship, the Sun Princess. In August 2025, the ship will embark on its maiden voyage, sailing nine days to Italy and Greece, followed by a series of 10-day roundtrip cruises from Rome to Florence, Barcelona, and Mykonos.
The Sun Princess will offer a series of seven-day Mediterranean cruises departing from Barcelona, Rome, or Athens, with stops in Istanbul, Naples, and Santorini. Several other ships will sail the Mediterranean, including the Emerald Princess, Majestic Princess, and Sky Princess. These ships will depart from Rome (Civitavecchia), London (Southampton), Athens (Piraeus), Trieste (Venice), and Barcelona, among others.
