Copenhagen has become the home of MSC Cruises’ most energy-efficient ship ever, the MSC Euribia.
Sarah Grünewald, a model, actress, and television host from Denmark, opened the ceremony with the naming ceremony.
MSC Cruises‘ godmother, Sophia Loren, was present for the ship’s naming ceremony, continuing her long-standing relationship with the company.
Live entertainment and speeches were also part of the ceremony, which included cutting the ribbon and breaking a bottle of champagne over the ship’s bow. There will be a gala dinner as well as a DJ set by Bob Sinclair.
During this summer, the MSC Euribia will offer seven-night cruises to the Norwegian Fjords, including Geiranger, Lesund, and Flaam, out of Kiel, Germany and Copenhagen, Denmark.
