A few details have been revealed about Celebrity Cruises‘ upcoming ship, the Celebrity Ascent, that is scheduled to be launched this November.
South Florida will be the home port of the Celebrity Ascent during the Caribbean season of 2023-2024.
From Ft. Lauderdale, the ship will depart from Port Everglades. During December 2023 through April 2024, the group will sail from Miami to Fort Lauderdale, exploring destinations such as the Bahamas, Grand Cayman, Puerto Rico, and the British Virgin Islands before sailing to Europe for a summer cruise on the Mediterranean.
Celebrity Cruises’ President Laura Hodges Bethge said, “I am so excited to introduce Celebrity Ascent and continue the legacy of Celebrity’s Edge Series.” The Edge Series was introduced in 2018 and quickly became one of the biggest hits on the market with ships like Edge, Apex and Beyond. As we strive to offer travelers a better way to travel and experience the world around them, we are proud of what we have built and eager to welcome both seasoned and new cruisers.
The Sunset Bar, the Terrace Garden and the Theatre are all returning favorites, but guests will also enjoy new amenities such as:
⦁ The restaurant Le Voyage by Daniel Boulud has been redesigned;
⦁ Eden Restaurant offers a plant-based tasting menu;
⦁ Dinner at Le Petit Chef;
