A new menu of late-night snacks is being added to Carnival Cruise Line’s dining options. The new options are a complement to the current late-night pizza offerings across the fleet, according to the company’s Brand Ambassador John Heald. This new menu offers different options such as honey mustard chicken tenders and chili dogs with grilled onions and chili.
Besides salads, there are a variety of sandwiches, ham and cheese rolls, and two types of Chicago-style pizzas, as well as chicken noodle soup, Italian meatball sandwiches, and chips and salsa. Two sweet treats are also available on the menu, including chocolate chip cookies and sugar cookies. In addition to peak periods and guests’ demographics, the onboard team will determine the opening and closing times of late-night food service, Heald noted.
From this week, Carnival’s 23 ships are expected to have the new menu available. According to Heald, Carnival’s culinary team considered passengers’ feedback and the new service has been well received. He wrote on social media, “Thanks for all the great comments on the new late-night menu and a big thank you to the culinary team for listening to my feedback.”
Carnival is also not bringing back the midnight buffets that were served onboard in the past, according to Heald. Additionally, the company offers late night snacks on its room service menu for an extra charge. Sandwiches, salads, snacks, and sweets are offered on a 24-hour menu for $3 to $8.
