Palermo No Mafia Tour is a walking tour of Palermo’s city center that takes guests to the symbolic locations of civic anti-mafia resistance and the fight against racketeering every Thursday for passengers arriving on the Costa Smeralda.
Addiopizzo Travel, which was created by the Addiopizzo movement to offer ethical tourism, is organizing the tour.
In this three-hour walking tour, guests can deepen their knowledge of the Sicilian mob and the anti-mafia movement while discovering a new face of Palermo.
A tour of the port begins at the Teatro Massimo before moving to the Wall of Legality, which depicts the faces of those who have fallen in the fight against the Mafia. In addition to Piazza Beati Paoli, guests will also see the monument to the Mafia killed magistrates at Piazza della Memoria, followed by the City Hall, Cathedral, and Cathedral.
In addition, guests will be able to support an ethical and pizzo-free economy by stopping in one of the Costa Smeralda shops that display the logo of the “Pago chi non paga” campaign.
A reservation for the “Palermo No Mafia Tours” can be made before the cruise departs.
