Carnival Miracle recently returned from a 14-night cruise to Alaska, concluding the company’s summer cruise program. In addition to sailing to Prince Rupert, in British Columbia, this voyage is part of the Carnival Journeys program.
Carnival says the less visited cruise destination offers some of the world’s best natural sights, along with museums and restaurants. As part of the Carnival Miracle’s itinerary, Juneau, Skagway, Ketchikan, Icy Strait Point, and Sitka are also scheduled to be visited.
Besides scenic cruising along the Tracy Arm Fjord, the itinerary also includes a return to Long Beach. Currently sailing from San Francisco, the Carnival Miracle is one of three Carnival ships sailing to Alaska this summer. A four-night cruise to Baja Mexico was offered each month between May and August, and a ten-night voyage to the Last Frontier and Canada.
A series of cruises will be offered from Long Beach by the Miracle during the winter of 2023-24, following its repositioning earlier this month. The itineraries range between four and 15 nights and take you to destinations such as Baja Mexico, Hawaii, and the Mexican Riviera. In addition to its Galveston season, the vessel will sail in Alaska next year before becoming Carnival Cruise Line’s fourth ship. The Carnival Miracle first entered service in 2004 and is one of the four ships in the Spirit Class.
It received Carnival’s new blue, white and red livery in late 2022 after being extensively refurbished over the years. In celebration of the company’s 50th anniversary, a navy-blue bow with red and white accents runs the length of the ship, inspired by officers’ uniforms.
