A new Icon of the Seas vacation line from Miami will be available three months earlier than planned following what Royal Caribbean International described as record demand.
As soon as the ship was revealed in October 2022, Royal Caribbean recorded the highest volume of bookings ever.
Consequently, the Icon released early sailings to Perfect Day at CocoCay and Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic; and San Juan, Puerto Rico, for 2025-2026.
Royal Caribbean will begin accepting reservations tomorrow, September 13, on its website.
As Royal Caribbean International’s president and CEO, Michael Bayley said, “Since Icon of the Seas was announced almost a year ago, the response has been unprecedented in all ways.” With Icon, we set out to create the best possible vacation for families and friends without compromise, so that’s what we set out to do with Icon more than five years ago. As consumers’ excitement continues to build, it’s clear we’ve created a new kind of travel experience that reflects what they want to do today and in the future.”
