Queen Anne’s maiden voyage has been announced through Cunard’s Captain’s Log’s fourth installment, which details the senior crew.
The latest Captain’s Log installment highlights what’s been going on at the shipyard this summer, according to Thorhauge.
At the shipyard near Venice, work continues at a great pace on our new ship, Queen Anne, which will be delivered to Cunard in less than a year.
Whenever I board, I remind myself that there are two basic requirements at the heart of this impossibly complex process.
Obviously, the first thing is to build a ship that is safe and seaworthy. Secondly, and as much a priority as the first, we aim to create a hotel operation that gives our guests the maximum comfort and pleasure on board, ensuring we create lasting and unique memories synonymous with Cunard cruises.”
Our senior team, together with colleagues there, has been assembled to prepare the ship to be commissioned next year. We are looking forward to serving you on board the new Queen.”
Inaugural sailing team members onboard the Queen Anne include:
