With the Carnival Legend homeported in Galveston in 2025, Carnival Cruise Line will offer cruises from four to ten nights in the Western Caribbean.
Additionally, the Carnival Legend will offer two Panama Canal voyages.
With Carnival Legend in Galveston, Carnival’s already robust portfolio of sailings from Texas is strengthened, adding more variety and another ship choice, as well as more opportunities to cruise to Mexico and other Western Caribbean destinations tailored to fit any vacation schedule,” Fred Stein, Carnival’s vice president for revenue planning and deployment, explained.
A five-day voyage that visits Cozumel and Progreso, Mexico, is among the available sailings on the Carnival Legend between the fall of 2025 and early 2026. There are seven new 10-day itineraries that visit Grand Cayman, the Cayman Islands; Montego Bay and Ocho Rios, Jamaica; Mahogany Bay, Roatan; Belize, and Cozumel, Mexico.
Furthermore, an eight-day Christmas tour departing on December 18, 2025, will visit Roatan’s Mahogany Bay, Belize’s Costa Maya, and Mexico’s Cozumel.
On October 6, 2025, the ship will depart San Francisco for a 16-day Carnival Journeys sailing before moving to Galveston. Before transiting the Panama Canal and arriving in Galveston, the ship will visit Cabo San Lucas, Mexico and Puntarenas, Costa Rica. On February 2, 2026, a second Carnival Journeys voyage sails roundtrip from Galveston. A number of ports will be called on board the cruise, including Montego Bay, Jamaica, Aruba, Curacao, Cartagena, Colombia, Colon (Panama Canal), Panama, Limon, Costa Rica, and Cozumel, Mexico. There will also be three 10-day Panama Canal sailings on the Carnival Legend on October 27, December 8, and March 16, 2026.
September 21 is the date when Carnival Legend’s Galveston cruises will go on sale.
