An Australian repositioning voyage is underway aboard the Brilliance of the Seas from Royal Caribbean International.
This morning, the ship is departing from Canada for its first leg of the journey to Sydney, where it will be based for the rest of its life.
As part of the ten-night itinerary, the ship sails from Vancouver to Honolulu and visits three different Hawaii destinations: Hilo, Kailua Kona and Nawiliwili.
On Oct. 4, Brilliance of the Seas sets sail from Honolulu to begin its final repositioning voyage.
This 17-night itinerary visits Tahiti, Moorea, and Raiatea, all in French Polynesia, along with the Bay of Islands and Auckland, all in New Zealand, before arriving in Sydney.
On Oct. 22, the Brilliance of the Seas arrives in its new homeport and begins its 2023-24 season.
A series of cruises to various destinations in the region will be offered by the Radiance-Class vessel taking over the Enchantment of the Seas’ itinerary.
In the first itinerary, for example, the ship visits Newcastle, Eden and Hobart in addition to spending two days at sea.
Additionally, the Brilliance offers Great Barrier Reef cruises, including an 11-night expedition in December that visits Eden, Airlie Beach, Cairns, Port Douglas, and the Willis Islands.
Aside from visiting the South Pacific, New Zealand, Indonesia, and Western Australia, the ship will also visit the South Pacific during its local program.
