Three Costa Ships to South America in 2024-25

By Cruise Booking Team

There will be three Costa Cruises ships in South America from 2024 to 25. There will be three ships based in the region during the season, which runs from November 2024 to April 2025, according to a press release.

Brazil, Argentina, and Uruguay will be sailed by the Costa Diadema on new itineraries. Regular weekly cruises to Buenos Aires and Montevideo will depart from Santos and Itaja.

The Diadema will also offer short cruises from Santos, making it Costa’s largest cruise ship in the region once again. As part of the 2024-25 season, Costa Pacifica will again sail in Brazil, returning to the country after a four-year gap.

As part of its three-month itinerary in the country, Pacifica will offer three- to eight-night voyages to popular destinations, including Ilhabela, Porto Belo, Bzios, Angra do Reis and Balneario Camboriú.

On Dec. 31, the ship will also anchor off Santos for the city’s New Years fireworks show, a first for the vessel.

In Argentina, Uruguay, and Brazil, the Costa Favolosa will cruise. In addition to offering additional itinerary choices in the region, the 3,012-guest ship will sail an eight-night voyage that includes stops in Rio de Janeiro, Ilhabela, Balneário Camboriú, Ilha Grande, Montevideo and Buenos Aires.

Our 2024-25 season has a lot of new features, and by opening sales now, we are enabling more travelers to plan their holidays ahead of time and ensure they have the best conditions for a memorable experience on board our ships,” said Dario Rustico, Costa Cruises Executive President for South and Central America and Regional Director for the Americas.
