The Symphony of the Seas just crossed the Atlantic Ocean with the most paying guests combined with crew, breaking a new world record.
There were 7,604 passengers and crew members aboard the Symphony as it crossed the ocean, according to the captain.
In a record-breaking repositioning voyage, the vessel started March 9 with almost 100 percent occupancy.
This 12-night European cruise connects the United States with Spain.
March 19 marked the beginning of the Symphony of the Seas’ journey to Malaga after departing from Port Miami. Barcelona is the final port of call on March 21, along with Valencia.

The cruise ship is scheduled to undergo routine maintenance during the maintenance period that includes technical overhauls, overall maintenance, and hotel upkeep.
Symphony of the Seas’ Western Mediterranean cruise series begins on April 16.
Having returned to European waters after five years, the vessel will offer regular itineraries, including ports in Italy, Spain, and France, like Naples, Palma de Mallorca, and Marseille.
This cruise sails from Barcelona and Civitavecchia and includes a visit to La Spezia, from where guests can take shore excursions into Tuscany and Florence.
The Symphony will cross the Atlantic Ocean again late October after its summer program.
The 14-night voyage also visits Valencia, Cadiz, and Nassau on the way to Fort Lauderdale.
