Royal Caribbean International has revised the itinerary for a 2025 cruise aboard the Utopia of the Seas to include an additional stop at its private island, Perfect Day at CocoCay, the company informed booked guests in a statement.
Scheduled to depart from Port Canaveral on February 3, 2025, the voyage is part of the ship’s lineup of short cruises to the Bahamas. The updated itinerary will now feature two stops at Perfect Day at CocoCay alongside a previously planned visit to Nassau.
In their letter the company said, “To provide you with the best experience, we’ve added an additional visit to Perfect Day at CocoCay, and we’re so excited to visit this destination with you twice.”
To make room for the extra stop, a day at sea was replaced by the second visit to Perfect Day at CocoCay, and the visit to Nassau was rescheduled to the third day of the cruise.
Additionally, Royal Caribbean added, “We’ve also added an extra hour for you to explore everything there is to do in this beautiful destination.”
The statement highlighted features of CocoCay, such as overwater cabanas and the largest freshwater swimming pool in the Caribbean. It also mentioned one of the tallest waterslides in North America and an adventure water park as other attractions.
The Utopia of the Seas, which was delivered by the Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard in June, is set to commence service for Royal Caribbean on July 19, 2024. As part of the company’s Oasis class, this 5,714-guest vessel will operate a year-round program of short cruises to the Bahamas, with most three- and four-night itineraries sailing from Port Canaveral and featuring stops at both Nassau and Perfect Day at CocoCay.
