Carnival Changes Arrival Timings of Mardi Gras Cruises

By Cruise Booking Team

Carnival Cruise Line has made adjustments to the arrival times for the 2025 and 2026 departures on the Mardi Gras. According to a statement sent to booked passengers, the ship, which was built in 2020, will now return to its homeport in Port Canaveral later than initially planned. The company said, “We have slightly revised the itinerary for your cruise and now plan to conclude the voyage at 8:00 AM instead of 7:00 AM”.

The affected sailings include all departures scheduled for 2026, along with most of the cruises departing in 2025, including those between January 1 and September 7. Additionally, cruises taking place between October 16 and December 27, 2025, will also arrive one hour later in Port Canaveral.

Sailing from Central Florida throughout the year, the Mardi Gras offers six- to eight-night Caribbean and Bahamas cruises, visiting destinations such as Grand Turk, Curaçao, Aruba, and Nassau, among others. In 2025, the LNG-powered ship is also set to complete two trans-Atlantic crossings between Port Canaveral and Barcelona. A month-long gap between these sailings will see the ship undergoing its first major dry dock at a European shipyard.

Carnival has been making several changes to its 2025 and 2026 itineraries in recent weeks. Earlier this month, the company announced adjustments to the Carnival Vista and Carnival Sunrise schedules, which included changes to port times, days, and the replacement of some destinations. Carnival had also previously made changes to the 2025 and 2026 sailings on the Carnival Freedom, Carnival Spirit, and Mardi Gras, altering port times and replacing some destinations for selected departures.
