Cruise sector giant Carnival Corporation has indeed entered the history books by securing its rightful spot in the World’s Most Admired Companies list of Fortune for the year 2025. Carnival is being recognized after a strenuous selection process that initially considered 1,500 companies from various sectors.
The evaluation was jointly performed by Fortune and Korn Ferry and dove into issues regarding corporate excellence. Surveys were taken by people including senior executives, board members, and analysts in the industry, thus evaluating the companies in matters such as the prowess of leadership, market value, commitment to social responsibilities, and attracting talent.
Carnival CEO Josh Weinstein celebrated this achievement by outlining the company’s focus on all areas of excellence. He said that the acknowledgment reflects not only their financial success but also the way they deliver outstanding experiences in alignment with responsible business practices. He further gave due credit to the company’s workforce of 160,000 for providing extraordinary vacation experiences while ensuring an equally strong commitment to environmental stewardship and community impact.
This is particularly significant following Carnival’s recent recognition in the Management Top 250 by The Wall Street Journal. Carnival was recognized in the 2024 Best-Managed Companies list for its greatest improvement since the previous year, showing an unmistakable increase in its corporate performance and management effectiveness.
The two media institutions highly regarded in corporate journalism which have awarded distinction to Carnival signify the emergence of Carnival as a benchmark for corporate excellence not only within the cruise industries but any other industries.
