There has been an announcement from Holland America Line that its Ellis Island exhibit is now open, according to a press release that was issued.
It is with great pleasure that we are pleased to announce that Holland America Line has partnered with The Statue of Liberty-Ellis Island Foundation to exhibit details of the cruise line’s 150-year history and how the company contributed to the immigration of one in ten immigrants from Europe to the United States.
A number of immigration stories are told in this exhibit, as well as passenger manifests, historical photographs, past ship information, old Holland America Line posters, as well as Dutch-themed items.
By early May 2023, it will be possible for those who are interested in knowing more about the role that the cruise line has played in the history of the United States to do so.
