AmaWaterways celebrates Digital Nomad Day with open-seas voyages for remote workers

By Cruise Booking Team

AmaWaterways celebrates Digital Nomad Day (August 8th) by highlighting its early season cruises from February through November along the Rhine and Danube rivers in honor of the growing phenomenon of digital nomadism.

On AmaWaterways‘ fleet of floating boutique hotels, remote workers and travel enthusiasts can explore Europe during a less crowded period while maintaining connectivity and productivity.

In addition to well-appointed cabins with integrated workspaces and complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the ship, AmaWaterways’ river cruises offer digital nomads a unique opportunity to engage with their professional endeavors while seizing fresh opportunities. The Main Lounges are spacious and the Sun Deck is equipped with ample outdoor seating. The included excursions are available most mornings and afternoons, allowing you to balance work commitments and local attractions.

A 20% discount will be applied to reservations made before September 30th, 2023, for the early season voyages. These two early season itineraries are noteworthy for the following reasons:

The flagship AmaMagna of AmaWaterways will sail along the Danube River beginning on February 11th, 2024 between Budapest, Hungary, and Vilshofen, Germany. The itinerary passes through major European cities including Vienna, Bratislava, and Budapest, allowing travelers to bask in opulence for 7 nights. It is possible for guests to enjoy the cruise at their own pace, possibly relaxing at Budapest’s thermal spas or skating at Vienna’s ice rinks during leisure time. There is a heated pool and whirlpool on the Sun Deck, a library, a pickleball court and a soothing onboard massage to promote relaxation on board.

On February 11th, 2024, AmaLucia embarks on the 7-night Rhine River voyage. Amsterdam Holland to Basel Switzerland is the route of the Enchanting Rhine. The scenic journey concludes with the majestic Swiss Alps, which are framed by hilltop castles and quaint towns, along with regional delights such as Rüdesheimer coffee and Kolsch beer.
