Carnival Cruise Line’s Venezia made its inaugural visit to St. John’s, docking at Antigua Cruise Port as highlighted in a press release.
With more than 4,000 guests on board, the Venezia embarked on its 12-day Southern Caribbean journey, marking the ship’s first venture to the region. This Vista Class vessel, which has recently undergone rebranding, is scheduled for another stop in St. John’s come November.
During the visit, a ceremonial exchange of plaques was conducted. Cynthia Jacobs Browne, the Officer In Charge at Antigua Cruise Port, received a commemorative gift from the ship’s captain, Massimo Pennisi.
“We are delighted to have Carnival Venezia alongside today,” said Cynthia Jacobs Browne, Officer in Charge at Antigua Cruise Port.
This visit is one of several that we anticipate from Carnival Cruise Line vessels this year, which reflects the growing demand for our destination and for cruise vacations.
