According to a press release from Carnival Cruise Line, the Venezia will move from New York to Port Canaveral in late 2024.
With these new sailings, Carnival Cruise Line will be able to offer more of its signature fun to its most popular homeports, said Christine Duffy, Carnival Cruise Line president. As Carnival Venezia expands its operations to Port Canaveral, we will deploy five ships there, providing our valued guests with another fantastic option when sailing from Central Florida.
It is expected that Carnival Venezia will be repositioned from New York to the Southern Caribbean in December 2024, sailing on a 12-day Carnival Journeys itinerary that will include ports in St. Thomas, Aruba, Curacao, and Grand Turk before arriving in Port Canaveral on December 18, 2024.
In the same day, the Carnival Venezia will depart from Port Canaveral for a four-day Bahamas cruise that includes visits to Nassau and Freeport, followed by 15 seven-day cruises and two 14-day Carnival Journeys voyages. In spring 2025, the ship will return to New York.

This seven-day Western Caribbean cruise departs on December 29, 2024, January 26, 2025, and March 23, 2025. It visits Mahogany Bay, Isla Roatan; Belize; and Cozumel, Mexico
Taking off from Nassau, Bahamas, Montego Bay, Jamaica, and Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands, on February 9 and March 9, 2025
This seven-day journey will depart on April 6, 2025, and return on April 20, 2025, making stops in Nassau, Bahamas, Ocho Rios, Jamaica, and Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands.
On January 12, 2025, and February 23, 2025, two 14-day Caribbean cruises will set sail.
May 29, 2023, will see the Carnival Venezia leave Barcelona on its 15-day Carnival Journeys transatlantic journey.
June 15, 2023, will be the date of the first cruise from New York to Bermuda.
