Carnival Changes Itineraries for Three Ships

By Cruise Booking Team

Carnival Cruise Line has announced changes to the itineraries of 12 cruises scheduled on the Mardi Gras, Carnival Freedom, and Carnival Spirit ships.

In a statement to guests, Carnival explained that the affected sailings are set to take place between May 2025 and January 2026. For the Mardi Gras, three cruises, including those departing on May 3 and May 13, 2025, will now feature revised days and times for their Caribbean port visits. Additionally, the itinerary for the February 12, 2026, cruise has been updated, swapping the dates for stops at Amber Cove and Grand Turk.

Eight itineraries on the Carnival Freedom are also being adjusted. For instance, the May 5, 2025, departure will replace a planned stop at Bimini with Amber Cove. For five cruises to the Bahamas, including those departing on September 4, September 27, 2025, and January 17 and March 23, 2026, a visit to Half Moon Cay has been swapped for Princess Cays. The December 1, 2025, cruise will also see a swap in the visiting days for Nassau and Princess Cays. Additionally, the January 12, 2025, cruise will have its days for visiting Celebration Key and Nassau reversed, with updated port times. Similarly, the March 1, 2026, departure will see visiting days for Nassau and Princess Cays exchanged.

The Carnival Spirit will also see changes, including replacing a stop in Nassau with Bimini during its November 30, 2025, cruise. The date for the scheduled visit to Celebration Key has also been adjusted, and all port times have been revised.

Carnival has given assurance that shore excursions purchased through the cruise line will be automatically adjusted to match these new itineraries. For ports that have been removed from the schedule, refunds for excursions will be processed automatically to the original payment method.
