Kyndall “Fire” Magyar will serve as cruise director of Carnival Jubilee’s inaugural season, replacing Matthew Boyd as entertainment director.
Starting on December 23, 2023, from its homeport of Galveston, Texas, the two will lead the teams that deliver all the fun onboard.
Having seen Kyndall and Matthew work on Carnival Jubilee’s sister ships, I am confident that they will deliver Texas-sized fun that maximizes the capabilities of this spectacular new ship while maintaining our high standards,” said Chris Nelson, Vice President of Entertainment.
The teams they will lead are led by Magyar and Boyd, who each have 20 years of Carnival experience.
Since 2016, Magyar has been working on Carnival ships. Previously, she worked as a cruise director on the Mardi Gras. When the Carnival Vista returned to service in 2021, she served as cruise director, as well as part of the inaugural team for the Carnival Horizon.
The 2010 Carnival hire, who was recently named Entertainment Director of the Year for 2023, joined Carnival in 2010. The most recent cruise he led was the Carnival Celebration.
