Carnival Cruises to Celebrate 55th Birthday with Meetups at Sea

Carnival Cruise Line will celebrate its 55th anniversary in 2027 with special events on 11 itineraries, including three ship meets at sea, according to a press release.

The 55th birthday cruises have itineraries ranging from three to eight days, including sites in The Bahamas and the Caribbean.

The three activities will bring ships and people together near Celebration Key and RelaxAway on Half Moon Cay. Several ships will conduct birthday festivities on the Lido deck during each meetup, with the Carnival Legend taking part in two. Guests can participate in themed activities, a special birthday cocktail, celebratory cakes, a Lido dessert buffet, and party games and trivia.

The meetup will occur in March 2027 during the following sailings:

• March 9, 2027: Four ships will gather near Celebration Key. The Carnival Spirit sails from Mobile on March 6 for an eight-day trip, the Carnival Elation from Jacksonville for five days, the Carnival Legend from Tampa on March 7 for six days, and the Carnival Freedom from Port Canaveral on March 8 for five days.
• March 10, 2027: Three ships will meetup near RelaxAway on Half Moon Cay. The Carnival Jubilee sails from Galveston on March 6 for an eight-day trip, the Carnival Legend from Tampa on March 7 for six days, and the Carnival Pride from Baltimore for seven days.
• March 13, 2027: Five ships will celebrate near Celebration Key. The Carnival Celebration departs Miami on March 7 for a seven-day cruise, while the Carnival Sunrise and Carnival Conquest depart on shorter itineraries on March 11 and 12, respectively. The Carnival Vista departs from Port Canaveral on March 6 for an eight-day cruise, while the Carnival Glory sets sail on March 12 for three days.
