Carnival Dream Sets Sail on 14-Night Eastern Caribbean Adventure

By Cruise Booking Team

The Carnival Dream set off from Galveston earlier this month for a 14-night cruise, heading to the Eastern Caribbean and Florida.

This cruise is part of Carnival Cruise Line’s Carnival Journeys program, which offers longer trips with unique itineraries. On this voyage, passengers get to visit nine exciting destinations, including some rare stops like St. Croix and St. Kitts that Carnival doesn’t often include on its usual routes.

Other ports on this trip include Key West in Florida, Grand Turk in Turks and Caicos, San Juan in Puerto Rico, St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands, Philipsburg in St. Maarten, and Ocho Rios in Jamaica.

Carnival says these special Journeys cruises aim to offer more than just travel — they include activities and experiences onboard designed to make the trip even more enriching. Along with these unique touches, passengers still enjoy the classic cruising fun that Carnival is known for.

The Carnival Dream will continue to sail from Galveston year-round, with more 14-night cruises to the Eastern Caribbean planned for 2025. These will set sail in mid-January and late October, and similar voyages are already scheduled for January and October 2026.

When not on these special Journeys routes, the Carnival Dream typically runs a mix of six- and eight-night cruises to the Bahamas and the Western Caribbean. In 2024, its destinations include Key West, Freeport, Nassau, Half Moon Cay, Cozumel, Costa Maya, and Belize City.

The 2024-2025 cruise season out of Galveston will also feature the Carnival Jubilee, a new ship that launched in 2023. It offers seven-night cruises to the Western Caribbean. Other Carnival ships sailing from Texas during this time will include the Carnival Breeze and the Carnival Miracle, running cruises between four and twelve nights to the Caribbean, the Bahamas, and Central America.
