Carnival Pride Returns to U.S. Following Summer in Europe

By Cruise Booking Team

The Carnival Pride is currently making its way back to the United States after completing a summer program in Northern Europe and the Mediterranean.

Before embarking on its recent summer season in Europe, the Carnival Pride underwent refurbishments at a shipyard in Spain. The 88,500-ton vessel received Carnival’s new livery, along with several enhancements and new features, including the Heroes Tribute Bar & Lounge, a venue honoring the U.S. military. Additionally, the ship’s Cloud 9 Spa and Fitness Center underwent upgrades, offering new equipment and a refreshed appearance.

Before commencing its repositioning journey to Tampa on October 28, the Carnival Cruise Line vessel underwent a 15-night transatlantic voyage, starting in Civitavecchia, Italy, and including stops in six ports across Europe, the Atlantic, and the Caribbean.

Scheduled to arrive in Florida on November 12, the cruise will have visited Cartagena, Funchal, Ponta Delgada, and Grand Turk.

Upon reaching Tampa, the Carnival Pride is poised to launch a winter program featuring a series of six- to eight-night cruises exploring the Western Caribbean, Central America, and the Panama Canal.

After completing its winter season travel, the 2001-built vessel will reposition to Baltimore in late April, taking over itineraries currently offered by the Carnival Legend. The Pride’s offerings include a range of seven- to 14-night cruises to various destinations, including week-long voyages to the Bahamas and Grand Turk, seven-night itineraries to Bermuda, and longer journeys to the Eastern Caribbean.

During the summer, the Carnival Pride is set to present three Carnival Journeys to Greenland and Canada in 2024, featuring visits to destinations like St. Anthony, Qaqortoq, Nanortalik, and Corner Brook.
