According to information shared on social media by the port authority, Carnival Venezia arrived at Curaçao for the first time on October 5.
In accordance with the port’s records, the ship was carrying 3,899 passengers.
An inaugural call ceremony was held at the Ernest Jackie Voges pier, organized by the Curaçao Port Authority (CPA) and Maduro Shipping. Ruisandro Cijntje and representatives from the CPA attended the ceremony. It was pointed out that the cruise industry was essential to Curaçao by the minister of economic development, Maduro Shipping, and the Curacao Tourism Board to the invitees.
After leaving New York, the ship made calls in Curacao, Barbados, St. Lucia, St. Maarten, and St. Thomas, returning to New York on Oct. 14.
