The Celebrity Cruises company has announced new Caribbean sailings for the winter 2024-25 season onboard four ships: the Celebrity Apex, Celebrity Constellation, Celebrity Equinox, and Celebrity Summit.
Among the Florida ports offering voyages are Port Canaveral in Central Florida, Port Tampa Bay in West Florida, and Port Everglades in South Florida. On August 22, 2023, the cruise line will open for booking over 40 new itineraries. There are seven to nine-day itinerary options, with several trips to Perfect Day at CocoCay included.
The launch of this new program is very exciting for us. As part of our personalized experiences on board, guests will be able to experience the natural beauty of the Caribbean in a more intimate way,” said Laura Hodges Bethge, president of Celebrity Cruises. Port Canaveral is a perfect market to reach both tourists from within and outside the state who are looking for fun in the Caribbean sun. As part of our expansion, we are delighted to add it to our list of home ports.
Two new ships will be added to Celebrity Cruises’ offerings from Fort Lauderdale’s Port Everglades as part of the new program: the Celebrity Apex and Celebrity Summit. Guests can sail on the Apex between October 23, 2024, and March 8, 2025, visiting destinations such as St. Maarten, San Juan, Grand Cayman, and Mexico.
Additionally, five new Caribbean itineraries will be offered during the Summit from February 25, 2025, to April 10, 2025.
We are excited about Celebrity Cruises’ new Apex and Summit sailings as one of their homeports. The line’s guests can also expect to enjoy unmatched customer service and ease of sailing at Port Everglades in addition to the ‘resort at sea’ experience,” said Jonathan Daniels, CEO and Port Director of Port Everglades.
Celebrity Cruises will sail out of Orlando’s Port Canaveral for the first time, sailing 20 new itineraries from November 21, 2024, to April 19, 2025, onboard the Celebrity Equinox. There are many destinations to explore, including the Bahamas, Belize, Grand Cayman, Mexico, San Juan, and Saint Maarten.
Celebrity Cruises is an excellent new partner for Port Canaveral, and we are honored to be a part of their Caribbean expansion plans, said Capt. John Murray, CEO of Port Canaveral. It has been growing in popularity among Celebrity Cruise passengers from our port. Our Port provides comfort and ease of travel for even more cruise travelers now that Celebrity Equinox is homeported here.
