The Tangerine Table is launched by Celebrity Cruises

Celebrity Cruises is launching The Tangerine Table, a new content series featuring our fleet’s leaders and crew members.

Celebrity Cruises’ officers and crew are the true stars, and it’s time to shine a spotlight on them and their life on board,” said Lisa Lutoff-Perlo, president and CEO.

“This is an exciting opportunity for them to tell their stories and inspire our followers and next generation of mariners.”

In each episode, Celebrity Cruises officers or crew members will discuss their careers, people who inspired them, and their lives at sea for 10 minutes.

In the first episode, titled “SEA it to BE it”, women aboard Celebrity Beyond are highlighted, including:

• Among the most-followed mariners on social media is Captain Kate McCue, the first and only American female captain of a cruise ship;
• In addition to being Kenya’s first female marine pilot, Elizabeth Marami is also the country’s first nautical chief officer;
• A Mexican-born master of the culinary arts, Executive Pastry Chef Atziri Chavez;
• A Serbian-born wine expert works as the ship’s cellar master, Jelena Vukelic.

Celebrity’s Tangerine Table episodes will premiere throughout 2023, covering a wide range of positions.

Two more episodes will feature female hotel directors and female captains of the cruise line this month.

‘Captain’s Chair’ will introduce a group of cruise line captains, each with their own perspective on the importance of being supportive and encouraging. This episode includes:

Captain Manolis Alevropoulos, Vice President of Marine Operations,

• The Celebrity Beyond is captain Dimitris Kafetzis, and the Celebrity Ascent is coming later this year
• The Celebrity Summit and Captain Matt Karandreas
• Maria Gotor, the Celebrity Edge staff captain

This episode will feature hotel directors discussing what it takes to manage their careers as well as serving as an inspiration for women worldwide. This episode will include:

• A Celebrity Apex in Niina Hautaniemi
• Celebrity Edge: Danuta Nosidlak
• The Celebrity Millennium, Andrea Muegge
• Celebrity Constellation: Deborah Poortier
