Having undergone an extensive technical overhaul and multimillion pound refurbishment, Celestyal has unveiled details of its new ship, Celestyal Journey.
As part of the Celestyal Journey set to launch on September 2, 2023, 630 Dream Suites and Cosmos Cabins will be available, including 120 Junior Dream Suites and 28 Grand Dream Suites. A new penthouse with a private terrace will also debut on the cruise line called the Stargazer Suite. Furthermore, 55 percent of the Cosmos Cabins are outside, with 80 percent being outside.
During this exciting period for Celestyal, Lee Haslett, Celestyal CCO, said, “We are looking forward to working closely with our trade partners to highlight our enhanced onboard product and our renowned brand proposition of destination-rich, immersive travel experiences.” Through in-person ship visits, fam trips, and training, we hope to enhance our agent and operator partners’ knowledge of the Celestyal Journey and ultimately benefit their customers. This next chapter will allow us to grow together, and we are excited about it.”
There are also exclusive dining experiences onboard the Celestyal Journey, including moonlight dining at Thalassa and Mediterranean delicacies at Smoked Olive. A grilled menu is available at Grill Seekers, as well as a menu inspired by Asian cuisine at Pink Moon.
Also available onboard is a cooking demonstration area and a Chef’s Table where private dining can be arranged. Guests can taste wines and champagne at the new Grapevine Wine Cellar and the Fizz Club.
Adding to the Mediterranean-style offerings is The Sozo Experience, a deck inspired by the Greek tradition of Sozo, which promotes health and wellness.
The Amphitheatro provides entertainment throughout the ship, as well as cooking workshops, lectures and more. Children are also entertained with a range of activities and facilities.
From September 2 to November 2, Celestyal Journey will sail Idyllic Aegean sailings visiting Athens, Thessaloniki, Kavala, Istanbul, Dikili, Kusadasi, Patmos and other places in the Aegean.
