A unique tour program in Genoa, Italy has been developed by Costa Cruises in partnership with La Scolca.
La Scolca Estate in Gavi (Alessandria, Piedmont region) will offer its guests onboard Costa Toscana a truly Italian experience as of June 2023.
There will be a guided tour of the Cortese vineyards, where the world-famous Gavi DOCG wines were born. Guests will have the opportunity to sample three of La Scolca’s Gavi wines and some traditional local foods. A special price will be available for La Scolca wines.
La Scolca owner and CEO Chiara Soldati said, “I am particularly proud of this collaboration.” It is a collaboration between brands that represent excellence in authentic Italian hospitality and lifestyle internationally. In addition to acquiring important quality certifications, we wanted to make our lifestyle and hospitality model more sustainable. Our wines are known and appreciated in almost 60 countries around the world, and I am glad to be able to introduce them to our history, our wines, and our roots to Costa Toscana guests from all over the world. Visitors to La Scolca will surely leave with a deep and unforgettable memory of this discovery of our territory.
It is very important for us to have a partnership with La Scolca. In addition to being the union of two historic Italian companies that share the same vision, this partnership serves as the perfect example of the value tourism and the discovery of local excellence that we wish to promote with our ships in Italy and all of the countries around the world where we travel. As our guests will be able to do during the tours at La Scolca, Costa Cruises’ vice president for guest experience and onboard revenues, Giuseppe Carino said, “Our cruises offer unforgettable experiences that allow our guests to interact with the destinations in a meaningful, authentic way.”
