Costa Cruises Welcomes Bing Onboard it’s Two Ships in 2024

By Cruise Booking Team

In 2024, Costa Cruises, in partnership with Acamar Films, will introduce the beloved animated character Bing Bunny from the series aimed at preschoolers, to two of its ships, Costa Toscana and Costa Smeralda.
Starting this summer, young travelers aboard these ships will get the chance to meet Bing, the star of the series. The ships will host family-friendly events each week, including appearances by Bing in costume, themed parades, and parties.
Paolo Reggiani, the entertainment director at Costa Cruises, expressed his excitement about the addition of Bing, “The arrival of Bing on board our ships will allow us to enrich the holiday experience we offer families with something unique and special.” Noting its popularity among children, he emphasized that this initiative is designed to enhance the onboard experience for families, making their holidays unforgettable with special entertainment activities planned on the Costa Toscana and Costa Smeralda.

Kirsty Southgate, director of the Experiential and Promotions team at Acamar Films, also commented on the partnership, “Costa Cruises is an expert in offering high-quality entertainment to the families onboard its ships, especially thanks to the dedicated children’s clubs with reserved areas.” She mentioned that this collaboration aims to provide young guests with a unique opportunity to interact with Bing, enhancing their vacation experience and creating lasting memories.
During the summer of 2024, the Costa Toscana and Costa Smeralda will offer week-long cruises through Italy, France, and Spain. The Costa Smeralda will make stops in Genoa, Marseille, Barcelona, Cagliari, Naples, and Civitavecchia/Rome, while the Costa Toscana will visit Savona, Marseille, Barcelona, Ibiza, Palermo, and Civitavecchia/Rome.
