On board all three of Cunard’s Queen ships, several coronation-themed activities are being offered to celebrate His Majesty The King’s Coronation and Her Majesty The Queen Consort’s Coronation.
There are street parties in the Grand Lobby, themed musical performances, films, and quizzes onboard Queen Mary 2, Queen Victoria, and Queen Elizabeth. It includes some of King Charles’ favorite ingredients and is inspired by his love of farming, agriculture, game, and organic principles.
The King and Queen Consort will be toasting with specialty cocktails and a specially curated dinner menu, including the “Coronation Oath” with Prosecco, White Vermouth, Grapefruit, and Cardamom Bitters, and the “Monarch Martini” featuring Cunard’s 3 Queens Gin.
A live broadcast from Westminster Abbey will be broadcast from the three ships on May 6. On Queen Victoria, guests are returning from a 12-night cruise around the Canary Islands, while Queen Elizabeth is embarking on a nine-night cruise of southern Japan and Taiwan.
In May, the Queen Mary 2 will sail to Southampton on its Coronation Celebration voyage, announced earlier.
The Prince’s Trust, a charity helping young people facing disadvantages, will also hold deck walks on Cunard’s ships on May 8 to raise funds for The Big Help Out. Since the Queen Consort became Queen Victoria’s godmother in 2007, the charity has been a partner of Cunard for 15 years.
