Cunard’s newest ship, the Queen Anne, made its North American debut in New York on Saturday, January 18, during its maiden world journey.
The ship left from Southampton, England, on January 9, and its first stop was New York. Before going through the Panama Canal, the Queen Anne will also stop in Miami, Florida, and Cartagena, Colombia.
During the 107-night world tour, Queen Anne will visit 30 ports across 18 countries. Some of the places that can be visited are San Francisco, Honolulu, Auckland, Sydney, Cape Town, and Hong Kong. The trip ends on April 29 in Hamburg, Germany.
Designed under the direction of Adam Tihany, the 3,000-guest ship blends Cunard’s art-deco heritage with modern elegance. The ship features 4,300 commissioned art pieces from global artists, various entertainment venues like the cabaret-style “Bright Lights Society,” and improved wellness offerings, including the Pavilion wellness café, which highlights plant-based and sustainably sourced menu options.
