Disney Treasure’s ‘Latest Chapter of Growth’ in Port Canaveral

Port Canaveral has welcomed another new ship, Disney Cruise Line’s Disney Treasure.

The Disney Treasure joins the Disney Wish and Disney Fantasy as the third Disney Cruise Line ship to call Port Canaveral home.

Disney Cruise Line has been a longtime partner of Port Canaveral, and we’re thrilled to welcome this newest addition to its fleet, which will provide guests with unforgettable vacation experiences,” Captain John Murray, CEO of Port Canaveral, stated. “Disney Treasure is the latest chapter of the continued growth at our Port, and we couldn’t be prouder and more honored to serve as the homeport for this amazing ship.”

In keeping with nautical custom, Canaveral Port Authority Chairman Micah Loyd and (list of others) exchanged plaques with Disney Treasure Captain (name) at (venue) to commemorate the ship’s first call in the United States.

“We’re thrilled that Disney Treasure will be based in Port Canaveral and can’t wait to see the first guests sail on this incredible ship,” said Canaveral Port Authority Chairman Micah Loyd. “In addition to creating high-quality guest experiences, Disney and Port Canaveral share a commitment to sustainable operations, leveraging innovative strategies and exploring new ways to minimize our environmental footprint.”

Following a series of pre-inaugural festivities, the Disney Treasure will begin seven-day sailings from the Port next month.
