As confirmed by Holland America Line, they are offering a 28-day journey exploring Greenland, Iceland and Norway as part of their “Arctic Circle Crossing: Greenland and Iceland” Legendary Voyage.
The first European settlement in Greenland was founded by Norse explorer Erik the Red, whose routes inspired the voyage on June 29, 2025 on the Nieuw Statendam.
In addition to an overnight stay in Iceland, the ship spends four maiden calls in Greenland during its roundtrip voyage from Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
With Legendary Voyages, Holland America Line is able to create longer cruises that explore a region and include ports that aren’t normally visited, such as the four maiden stops in Greenland on its new Arctic Circle Crossing. The itinerary will take you to Norway’s North Cape, then down into Greenland along both coasts, as well as to Iceland for some incredible opportunities. This tour is 28 days long, so it’s an ideal length to give our guests a deeper understanding of these countries than a brief introduction.”
