The Holland America Line has announced its much-anticipated 2026-27 cruise season, featuring long voyages through the Panama Canal and Hawaiian Islands. Six vessels from five ports in North America Will combine itineraries over an extensive 14 to 28 days.
Panama Canal Voyages: Wonders of Engineering
Cruise lovers have a choice of twelve Panama Canal itineraries, all departing from Eurodam, Nieuw Amsterdam, and Zuiderdam, ranging between 14 and 21 days of cruise lengths. By emphasizing the unique experience of traversing through this engineering wonder of the world, the canal remains on the checklist of “must-dos” on many travelers’ lists, according to Paul Grigsby, the line’s vice president of deployment.
Indeed, a spectacular 21-day cruise touching 11 ports in eight countries will move from Vancouver all the way down to Fort Lauderdale, stopping along the way at Joya de Ceren, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in El Salvador, at Holland America’s private island Half Moon Cay, and touching Acapulco, Mexico, which has not been call in close to 15 years.
A Hawaiian Experience of Cultural Immersion
Guests can participate in hula dancing and ukulele lessons on these six Hawaiian itineraries aboard Koningsmark, Noordam, and Zaandam from Vancouver, Seattle, or San Diego.
An 18-day Circle Hawaii Holiday cruise is an option with a unique take on the Thanksgiving holiday. The Zaandam will cruise round trip from San Diego, calling at five Hawaii ports and Ensenada, Mexico. Guests will spend their Thanksgiving night in Honolulu.
Combination Voyages: Longer Exploration Offerings
If traveling longer is your desire, one can book a 27–28-day Legendary Glaciers & Volcanoes cruise with Holland America Line beginning in September 2026, featuring a combination of Alaska and Hawaii. Making stops at six ports in Alaska and British Columbia, the itinerary winds up in four ports in Hawaii. Bookings for these cruise seasons in 2026-27 are now available, giving guests the opportunity to cruise in stylish comfort through the Panama Canal and the Hawaiian Islands.
