A press release from Holland America Line and Seabourn announced that Jeremy Schiller has been appointed chief financial officer.
CFO Schiller’s responsibilities include financial planning and forecasting, oversight of the finance department, and other financial and accounting activities supporting the business. He will report to Holland America Line president Gus Antorcha.
Antorcha said that Jeremy’s expertise in the cruise industry and his extensive financial experience make him an invaluable addition to the company’s leadership team. “He’s a strong tactical thinker and an effective leader, and his expertise will make a significant contribution to the growth of both brands.”
Carnival Cruise Line said Schiller has worked in the finance department for the past 12 years in roles of increasing responsibility.
As vice president of finance and operations, he oversaw several shipboard retail operations along with payroll, compensation, and fleet finance teams.
Schiller was previously employed at Bank Atlantic before joining Carnival Cruise Line.
His undergraduate studies were in finance at the University of Florida, and his graduate work was at the Goizueta Business School at Emory University.
