MSC Cruises has recently declared Elia Congiu as the new Chief Operating Officer for its Cruise Division, operating out of its Geneva, Switzerland headquarters.
In a recent update from the company, it was noted that this newly established position aims to bolster the brand’s ongoing expansion and spearhead the company’s various transformation initiatives. The focus of this role will be on enhancing operational efficiency and fostering synergy within the Cruise Division.
Congiu brings over a decade of experience within the MSC family to his new role, having previously served as the Chief HR Officer for the Cruise Division. In this capacity, he was instrumental in establishing the Global HR organization, showcasing a profound understanding of the company’s operational framework, its personnel, and its culture. Congiu’s appointment is set to commence from the following month, with an announcement regarding his successor anticipated in the near future.
