The MSC Virtuosa has started her debut season in the Caribbean.
After relocating from Northern Europe, the 2021-built yacht currently offers a variety of cruises departing from Guadeloupe, Barbados, and Martinique.
The seven-night cruises visit islands in the Southern and Eastern Caribbean, including St. Maarten, St. Vincent, Grenada, St. Lucia, Tortola, Antigua, and St. Kitts.
Passengers can also combine two consecutive sailings to create 14-night itineraries to up to ten locations.
The deployment begins in mid-November and will last until early April 2025, when the MSC Virtuosa is planned to return to Northern Europe via a trans-Atlantic trip.
The 20-night repositioning cruise begins in Barbados, Martinique, and Guadeloupe and ends in Southampton.
Before landing in the UK, the 4,888-guest ship will visit the Caribbean, the Azores, Portugal, Spain, and France, including St. Vincent, Ponta Delgada, Lisbon, and Le Havre.
After completing a summer cruise program in the region, the Virtuosa plans to return to the Southern Caribbean for a second season in 2025-26.
MSC Cruises will deploy six ships to the Caribbean for the 2024-25 season, with the majority of them departing from ports in the United States.
While the MSC Virtuosa now offers fly-cruises from its island homeports, the MSC Divina, MSC Seascape, and MSC Seaside depart from Port Miami.
The MSC Seashore continues to sail from Port Canaveral during the winter, while the MSC Meraviglia sails from New York City all year.
In 2025, the firm plans to grow its presence in the region even further with the inauguration of the new MSC World America in Miami and the establishment of a new US home port.
While the new 205,800-ton ship is planned to arrive in Florida in April, the MSC Seascape will reposition to Galveston in November.
