MSC World America Introducing Eataly at Sea

By Cruise Booking Team

MSC Cruises has formed a partnership with Eataly to introduce a new restaurant on its upcoming ship, the MSC World America, which is set to enter service in 2025.

According to a company statement, the restaurant will include an open kitchen and feature freshly made pasta, signature dishes, and exclusive items that are sourced from Italian suppliers.

Bernhard Stacher, the vice president of global hotel operations at MSC Cruises, expressed the company’s commitment to providing guests with a gastronomic journey. He highlighted that the onboard dining experience is central to creating memorable moments through shared good food. He emphasized the synergy between MSC Cruises’ European heritage and Eataly’s status as a symbol of Italian culinary artistry, noting, “We share a passion for high-quality, authentic food made with fresh ingredients and together we are creating a unique experience that can only be enjoyed on board MSC World America.”

The MSC World America will feature a total of 19 dining venues. This includes four main restaurants, two buffets, and two exclusive venues in the MSC Yacht Club, alongside Eataly and five other specialty restaurants.

Additionally, the ship will debut a new specialty Greek restaurant named Paxos, which will include a fresh fish counter for guests to select from.

For casual dining options, the ship will offer several choices including Paxos on the Go for authentic Greek favorites, Promenade Bites with snacks like hot dogs and cotton candy, The Harbour Bar & Bites featuring items such as empanadas and burritos, La Boca Grill for pizza, and Luna Park Pizza & Burger for American classics, all located in various districts on the ship.

The MSC World America is scheduled to launch in April 2025. Its inaugural season will focus on Caribbean voyages departing from Miami, including stops at Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, the cruise line’s private island in the Bahamas.
