Norwegian Dawn and Star will sail from Tampa in 2025-26

Norwegian Cruise Line is redeploying the Norwegian Dawn and Norwegian Star to Tampa during the winter season of 2025-26.

The new itineraries, which are already available for booking on the company’s website, will replace previously canceled seasons in South America and Africa.

After delivering a trans-Atlantic trip from Spain, the Norwegian Dawn will begin its Tampa homeporting season on November 16, 2025.

The ship will conduct a series of seven-night voyages to the Western Caribbean, including stops in Cozumel, Costa Maya, Harvest Caye, Roatán, and Key West.

The deployment will also include ten-night trips to additional Western and Southern Caribbean ports of call, such as Cabo Rojo, George Town, Falmouth, Aruba, and Curaçao.

Before departing for a repositioning trip to Europe in early April, the Norwegian Dawn offers four-night Bahamas cruises that include a visit to Norwegian’s private island destination, Great Stirrup Cay.

The Norwegian Star is scheduled to arrive in Tampa on December 5, 2025, at the end of a trans-Atlantic journey.

The ship’s recently announced deployment includes four- to 12-night trips to the Eastern, Southern, and Western Caribbean, as well as the Bahamas.

The ship will make stops in St. Thomas, St. Maarten, Cabo Rojo, Falmouth, Key West, Great Stirrup Cay, and other ports.

The Norwegian Star’s season closes in Tampa with a transatlantic sail to Portugal in mid-April 2026.

In addition to the Dawn and Star, Norwegian Cruise Line has revised the deployment dates of the Norwegian Jewel and Norwegian Jade for 2025-26.

The Jewel will now depart from Miami for cruises to the Bahamas, the Southern Caribbean, and the Panama Canal, having previously sailed out of Tampa.

Rather than operating trans-canal voyages from Miami and Panama City, the Jade will stay on the West Coast for Mexican Riviera trips departing from San Diego.
