Explore a Wide Range of Itineraries with Norwegian Cruise Line’s Prima Class Ships

By Cruise Booking Team

The Norwegian Aqua is about to enter the inaugural season, while the Prima class fleet from Norwegian Cruise Line expands its global presence to offer diverse itineraries across multiple continents.

Norwegian Luna

Year Built: 2026

Capacity: 3,571 guests

Tonnage: 156,300

Sailing Regions: Caribbean and Bahamas, and Bermuda

Homeports: Miami (United States)

The Norwegian Luna construction, which is represented as the fourth vessel under the Prima Class of Norwegian, has been issued by the shipyard located in Italy, Fincantieri, with the projected date of entering service being April 2026. The inaugural sailing will have the ship depart from Miami for a seven-night cruise through the Caribbean and the Bahamas.

Norwegian Aqua

Fresh from a transatlantic journey from Southampton to New York, new Norwegian Aqua is gearing to embark on Caribbean cruise journeys from Miami and Port Canaveral. The ship will spend its first season sailing from New York City with five to seven-night getaways to Bermuda.

Norwegian Viva

Sailing high seas on wide berth, the Norwegian Viva with the remarkable capacity of 3,215 guests is sent quite into operation somewhere in the middle of 2023. The ship will continue to cruise across several homeports in North America and Europe until she retires at the close of 2027. Some of these itineraries include sailing from Galveston, one from Piraeus, and one from Civitavecchia in the summer. One-half of this journey is spent in the Mediterranean and half in the Caribbean, providing the best of both worlds for cruising throughout the year.

Norwegian Prima

At the end of this summer, the ship will return to class from Northern Europe and begin a Caribbean itinerary starting Port Canaveral. Late in 2026, it will debut in New Orleans for 7-night itineraries to Mexico, Belize, and Honduras.
