Norwegian Cruise Line Introduces New Features on Aqua and Luna

By Cruise Booking Team

Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) has shared exciting details about the new experiences and upgraded spaces coming to its latest ships, the Norwegian Aqua and Norwegian Luna. These two ships are part of the Prima Plus Class and are set to launch in April 2025 and 2026.

“Our goal is to offer more exciting activities and upgraded experiences for all types of travelers,” said David J. Herrera, president of Norwegian Cruise Line. “These sister ships will bring a brand-new feature to our fleet, the Aqua and Luna Game Zone, while also redesigning other areas and keeping many of the guest favorites based on their feedback. We can’t wait for guests to create special memories on the Norwegian Aqua and Luna.”

A key new feature on both ships will be the Aqua and Luna Game Zone. This upgraded gaming area builds on the success of NCL’s Galaxy Pavilion and arcade. Guests will get to play a mix of games, including virtual reality experiences like Space Racing and Beat Hero, along with classics like Ms. Pac-Man and Donkey Kong.

The ships will also have new and improved spaces, like the Bull’s Eye Bar, where guests can play interactive dart games and enjoy a full bar. The games include automatic scoring shown on a big screen, adding more fun and excitement. Another highlight is the upgraded Tee Time mini-golf area, inspired by the Wonders of the World. The mini-golf course will feature 12 interactive spots across two decks and will be two and a half times larger than on earlier ships.

Additionally, based on guest requests, a dedicated Pickleball Court will be available on the new ships.

Both ships will also offer updates to their wellness and fitness spaces. The Mandara Spa and Salon will have new design features like a two-story indoor waterfall and a marble staircase. There will also be a new Clay Sauna designed to detox and exfoliate the skin. Guests can unwind on thalassotherapy loungers by the pool or try the new IV Drip Therapy to stay hydrated and boost energy and immunity.

The Thermal Suite will now have twice as many heated loungers with ocean views so that more guests can relax. Popular features such as the charcoal sauna, ice room, salt room, and flotation salt pool will also return.

The Pulse Fitness Center is getting a makeover, too, with new workout equipment, cardio machines, and a dedicated spin studio. Guests will hold access to a variety of fitness classes, including yoga, mat Pilates, cycling, and stretching.

With all these new and improved features, NCL is making sure that guests have even more ways to enjoy their time aboard the Aqua and Luna.
