Norwegian Luna to Feature Prima Plus Dining Venues

Norwegian Cruise Line recently announced that its newest ship, the Norwegian Luna, will feature a full array of new dining venues and bar experiences as part of its Prima Plus class when it enters service in April 2026.

The Norwegian Luna will incorporate several innovative concepts that will first debut on the Norwegian Aqua in early 2025. One of the highlights includes Sukhothai, a specialty Thai restaurant offering a diverse menu of traditional and modern dishes.

Another notable venue is the Indulge Food Hall, which originally made its debut on the Norwegian Prima in 2022. The upscale food court will offer a variety of indoor and outdoor dining options and will feature ten distinct food stations, including the plant-based Planterie.

In addition to these new concepts, the 156,300-ton vessel will also feature several of Norwegian’s established dining venues, such as Cagney’s Steakhouse and the French-inspired Le Bistro. The popular high-end Italian specialty restaurant, Onda by Scarpetta, which has been introduced on five ships since 2022, will also be included on the Norwegian Luna.

Other returning favorites will include the Surfside Café, a casual self-service eatery, the Commodore Main Dining Room, and Nama Sushi and Sashimi.

The ship’s bar and lounge offerings will feature several signature venues, including the Whisky Bar and the Belvedere Bar. The Metropolitan Bar, known for its focus on sustainable cocktails under the Sail & Sustain program, will also make a return, accompanied by a new menu of eco-conscious beverage options.

Additionally, the ship will introduce a new venue called Swirl, which Norwegian describes as an intimate wine bar, providing guests with a relaxed setting to enjoy curated wine selections.
The Norwegian Luna is the fourth vessel in the company’s Prima class and is set to begin service on April 4, 2026. During its inaugural season, the ship will offer a series of seven-night cruises to the Caribbean, departing from Miami. This deployment will allow guests to experience a blend of sophisticated dining, exceptional service, and diverse entertainment options, all while sailing through some of the Caribbean’s most picturesque destinations.
