According to a statement, Norwegian Cruise Line plans to deploy the Norwegian Spirit to Asia in 2024 as part of a long-term agreement with Lion Travel.
An executive from Norwegian Cruise Line signed the agreement in Taiwan recently.
With 26 voyages set to be offered sailing to Japan and South Korea, the vessel will be chartered from both Keelung and Kaohsiung.
June 21 marks the opening day of sales.
Previous plans for the ship were to sail from Alaska during the summer of 2024 and stay in Australia during the winter of 2024-25. There was no need for those plans, as they were cancelled.
