New Oceania Cruises ship Allura debuts one week early

By Cruise Booking Team

Allura, the new ship from Oceania Cruises, will enter service one week earlier than expected.

Inaugural sailings of the ship are scheduled to begin on July 18, 2025, from Trieste, Italy, when it joins the fleet in the summer of 2025. On the maiden voyage, the Allura will visit ports in the Eastern Mediterranean, including Rijeka, Croatia, Rome, Italy, and Dubrovnik, Croatia, as well as Kotor, Montenegro, before sailing to Athens, Greece.

Additionally, Oceania is now accepting reservations for its unique four-day roundtrip voyage from New York City in September 2025.

The success of our Fincantieri partners has enabled Oceania Cruises to launch Allura a week earlier than planned, according to Oceania Cruises president Frank A. Del Rio. It is my pleasure to introduce Allura on a taster voyage to aspirational travelers who are seeking to sample an ultra-premium cruise experience, and to do so from downtown Manhattan, the heart of the city.

Allura’s new Executive Culinary Directors, Chefs Alexis Quaretti and Eric Barale, will devise tasteful menus in all restaurants, including Oceania’s new Crêperie, a first for the brand.

As a company founded by foodies for foodies, Oceania Cruises takes food seriously, and it’s at the heart of everything we do. We are testing and tasting a delicious array of waffles and crepes that we will serve on board Allura next year. Guests will be able to customize their waffles and crepes, which will all be made to order, so they are perfect for every occasion.

The Grand Dining Room is currently developing more than 300 new recipes, across all three meal services. I look forward to revealing more in the weeks and months ahead.”
