In a statement, Oceania Cruises announced Broadway-caliber productions are coming to its new ship, the Vista.
Oceania Cruises president Frank A. Del Rio said, “We have deliberately raised the bar in every department with Vista, our first new ship in more than a decade.”
Known for our distinctive design, exceptional culinary offerings, and intriguing itinerary offerings, it was time to bring the same level of ‘wow’ to our entertainment programming. We are just getting started with this new lineup. As guests embark aboard Vista, you will experience never-before-seen entertainment experiences.
Additionally, Oceania Cruises will introduce three unique shows in May 2023, including Headliners, The Anchor Inn, and Into the Night, all featuring popular songs led by Britt Stewart, who choreographed “Dancing with the Stars”.
In addition to pushing the boundaries of creativity and theatrics, I am honored to have the chance to develop shows for Oceania Cruises, assembling a team of stars with credentials ranging from television to movies to Broadway to West End and more. As a result, Vista programs will be truly fresh and fun, Kai Alan Carrier, Oceania Cruises director of Artistic Theatrical Entertainment, shared.
“Because we know our guests enjoy recognizable songs and are adventurous and lively, we offered recognizable songs. This is a truly new perspective on entertainment, which I am certain we have accomplished.”
The dance-centric show Into the Night features dance, style, and design, choreographed by Britt Stewart.
As part of the VIP concert journey, guests will be treated to performances by Cher, Celine Dion, the Bee Gees, and Adele.
Featuring hits by Dusty Springfield, Rod Stewart, Madness, Shirley Bassey, Tom Jones, and others, The Anchor Inn is a UK-centric performance set in the Anchor Inn Pub.
