Australia World Cruise 2023 starts today on the Coral Princess. In addition to sailing roundtrip from Sydney, the ship will visit six continents and a variety of global destinations on its 107-night voyage.
Princess Cruises claims the itinerary covers 32,500 nautical miles and includes 44 ports in 26 countries.
In the northern hemisphere, the Coral Princess visits Southeast Asia and the Middle East before crossing the Suez Canal and entering the Red Sea.
On its way to Northern Europe, the ship first sails to Mediterranean ports before crossing the Gibraltar Strait.
As part of the cruise, you will also visit the British Islands, Iceland, and Greenland, as well as Canada and New England.
Prior to returning to Australia, the Coral Princess visits destinations along the Pacific Coast of South America, the South Pacific, and New Zealand.
According to Princess, the itinerary includes two crossings of the Equator, as well as overnight stays in Dubai, New York, and Lima.
A visit to over 20 UNESCO world heritage sites is one of the other highlights of the itinerary, as well as transiting the historic Panama Canal locks.
In 2002, the Coral Princess became the first cruise ship to sail year-round from Australia.
